LOVE and DESIRE

Jesus pronounced a Special Blessing on those who Hunger and Thirst after Righteousness (after HIM?)  Here are some new songs and hymns to help you devote your heart to Him.  To those who know Him well, He is indeed precious.

ALL I NEED IS JESUS

All I need is Jesus--
All things else decay;
Other things may tempt me,
But those things pass away.

       Life is filled with choices,
       But one thing will I plead--
       Let me live for Jesus,
       For He is all I need!

Let me live for Jesus,
Let me long for Him,
Old affections crumble,
Old desires dim;

       What has earth to offer?
       Her pleasures pass away!
       Let me live for Jesus,
       And reign with Him one day!

       Let me live for Jesus,
       And reign with Him one day!

LET ME CALL YOU FATHER

Let me call you Father, feel a father's care
When I'm lost or lonely, tempted to despair,
Often do I stumble, often do I stray,
Let me call you Father, show your love today.

      Come, my child, now come to me,
      I'll be your Father,
      Trust me, love me, come to me.

Let me call you Father, my true father be,
All a father fathers, father now in me,
Show a father's steadfast love-- deep security,
Show by grace a father's face smiling now on me.

      Come, my child, now come to me,
      I'll be your Father,
      Trust me, love me, come to me.

             I am the Father, the one true Father,
             I'll be your father, come to me, child...

      Come, my child, now come to me,
      I'll be your Father,
      Trust me, love me, come to me.

Let me call you Father, feel a father's care,
Draw us, Lord, together, all your children near,
Teach us love's compassion, show us how to share,
And we'll show a father's ways, here and everywhere.

      Come, my child, now come to me,
      I'll be your Father,
      Trust me, love me, come to me.

LIKE A MERRY CHILD SKIPPING THROUGH A GARDEN

Like a merry child skipping through a garden,
Clipping here a red, a yellow, there a blue,
So we gather in our arms of Heaven's goodness,
Rearrange it, Lord, to offer back to You,

        We receive the gifts You give us--
        You're the Giver good and true;
        We receive and share them freely,
        Pointing others back to you.

Like a happy baby cooing at her mother,
Giving back her smiles, returning not a few
So we treasure to our hearts Your lovingkindness,
Take it joyfully and give it back to You,

        We will share the gifts we're given
        By the Giver good and true;
        We receive and give them freely,
        We will give them all to you.

YOU HAVE CALLED US TO YOU

You have called us to You, and we trembled before Your holy Voice,
But we turned us away to our desperate shame,
You have called us to come, to believe in Your love, and to rejoice,
But we knew not Your love, nor the loveliness of Your Name.

You have called us to come, to come boldly before Your holy throne
And we trembled to think of the marvelous sight,
But we turned us away, when we thought of the sin and guilt we own,
For we saw not Your face, nor the tenderness of the Light.

     "Lift up your eyes___________, Look on My face,
                          Lift up your eyes,
      Walk in My love, welcome My grace,
      Why would you fear all that I Am? I am the Lion, I am the Lamb,
      Lift up your eyes, open your heart,
      Child, arise-- Come to My heart... Come to My heart."

We are weary of sin, for this world is a wild and wasted place
Where the sins we have sown grow the harvest of strife,
We are hardened within, O how dark our delusion, our disgrace
If we know not the love of the Maker of Love and Life.

You have called us to You, We will tremble before Your holiness,
We will run unafraid to the Father's embrace;
We will sit on the throne, as the children of Your own blessedness,
We will learn of Your love, in the loveliness of Your face.

      I lift up my eyes__________, To look on Your face,
                        Lift up my eyes,
      To walk in Your love, to welcome Your grace,
      I will not fear to love the I Am, You are the Lion, You are the Lamb,
      I lift up my eyes, I open my heart,
      Father, I rise-- to come to Your heart... to come to your heart."
