YOU HAVE CALLED US TO YOU You have called us to You, and we trembled before Your holy Voice, But we turned us away to our desperate shame, You have called us to come, to believe in Your love, and to rejoice, But we knew not Your love, nor the loveliness of Your Name. You have called us to come, to come boldly before Your holy throne And we trembled to think of the marvelous sight, But we turned us away, when we thought of the sin and guilt we own, For we saw not Your face, nor the tenderness of the Light.
